  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey all, looks like one of mines is bad. Lights up and dings everytime I start the car or come to a stop. Its getting kind of annoying. Would love to pull fuse til i can get fixed, but can't find the correct fuse. Anyone know where it is located? 2012 Genesis 5.0 R-Spec

can you just push the button on the dash and turn them off?
I have an Equus and there is a button that turns them off..if desired...to the lower left of the steering wheel

I would also walk around and clean each one off with your thumb first. Even if they look clean. Mine has done what you say but cleaning them off always works for me.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Yup, push the button and head for the dealership. If they're anything like mine, they'll say "yes- we have data log showing all 4 are bad. But we're replacing one. Why? Because, we're a bag of dicks."

Have your service adviser unload his frustrations on the warranty guys. From what I gather from my guy, advisers aren't allowed to yell at customers, but they can say pretty much whatever they want to the warranty guys.

Thanks for the reply:D
Mine was going off for 2 days and then suddenly stopped and all working normally now. Ash, could you elaborate a bit more on where you clean please? I would like to know in case this happens again. Thanks, and Happy Holidays!!

I'm pretty sure he's just wiping down the sensors on the front and rear bumpers. I believe there are 4 per side.
