  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Many times I have seen folks here talk about getting a adjustable passenger lumbar and seat cooling. Has anyone actually done the passenger seat upgrade? If you did what did it cost? Where are the controls? Thinking about it. Thanks,
Bill

I would think about finding a salvage yard with Equus front seats for sale

Sub'd.

You should be able to buy another Genesis driver seat and replace the passenger seat with it...no?

My thought is it's not there for a very good reason....the airbag sensor that turns it off when no one is seated in it or dual stage when someone light sits in it.

Similar issue with the Acura TL. The passenger seat does not have a heated seat back which the driver's side does.

Still though not sure why the Equus has it but not the Genny. Design I guess.

While the heating/cooling part may be impacted by the air bag sensors, that could sure be designed around if they wanted to (and the passenger seat is heated in my car). And the air bag sensors wouldn't be impacted by the adjustable lumbar support at all.

I think it's the chauvinistic attitude of Koreans towards the fair sex.
