  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi, I am just learning about the Genesis and was previously set to buy a Caddy CTS. Now I am really looking at the Genesis. My question is, can you pause live radio like you can on the Caddy? Not a huge deal but just curious - thanks all!

Nope. I would LOVE that feature.
And WELCOME to the forum:welcome:

Too bad that the HDD isn't user-accessible. That would be a feature that could make use of the storage. But considering the other stuff that the system doesn't do, I doubt live radio pause would be offered even the hard drive was accessible.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm guessing you found us through our brother/sister site www.cadillacowners.com - either way, it's good to have you here... :)

I'd suggest just plugging a smartphone (like the iPhone) into the dock connector. As more and more radio stations are heading to the Internet, and more and more mobile apps are coming out to give people playback that meets their needs, I am guessing that a solution like that would likely meet most needs for pausing live radio, and it would allow that radio to be taken to and from the car easily, which seems like a plus.
