Although we wish never to use any SRS device, its nice to know that the Genesis is chock full of safety features, which puts my family and me at ease driving it.
....which I was unable to say about my 2004 BMW 745i, which at a offset frontal impact at est. 27 MPH (Drunk driver crossed median and hit us head-on) my girlfriends front passenger airbag failed to deploy, as well as both of our seat-belt pretensioners and her side curtain airbag. It was such a serious failure that the SC Highway Patrol investigated the vehicle and concluded that the passenger seat mat (which determines if there is a passenger present and their weight) was faulty as well as the pretensioners in the seatbelts. After being thru that in a $74,000 car I am glad to be in my Genny.
