Peeling knobs?

Has anyone else had an issue with peeling radio or HVAC knobs? I have just under 24K miles and didn't expect this to happen. Not that noticeable yet but still not pleased.

Under warranty. Take it in. Get replaced.

The matte finish is coming off my shift knob... lol.. it's a nice chrome finish underneath. Makes me wonder what else is in the interior is just a clear matte coat over chrome...

Good lord. My central control knob did the same thing, they replaced it

Wow' with only 24000 miles that's just unexceptable!!
Even if Covered by warranty .

33k on mine. No issues.

btw - you know there is a nice, soft-touch, rubberized volume knob under your left thumb?

one year no issues on mine.
one question, do you use any creams for your hands or petrol products you are touching?
