  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Good evening everyone!! Does anyone know how to remove that annoying “sounds of nature” feature? It’s like I can hear it even when my phone is playing music through the speakers. I’ve checked multiple threads dating back from the newest MapnSoft updates and haven’t seen any posts on this. If I’d missed it or it’s been covered in some other thread, I’ll try my best to locate the thread and get answers from it. Thanks in advance either way.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I don't have this problem after installing v14 on our 2015 ultimate. The sounds of nature only play when selected (which is rare) and no bleeding through to other audio sources.

Yes, not sure what you mean... It doesn't play unless selected. Do you have a different experience?

What version of the software do you have?

I go into the media settings and it’s playing until I either pause it or stop it! I connect my phone to the system via the connected cable and the music that’s selected plays, but Once I unplug my phone, it resumes. It doesn’t even switch to FM/AM Radio. It’s minor, but a nuisance though.

Click on the media button to switch between inputs. A very similar thing happened to me.

There's also a menu setting where you can select the audio sources that are available. I believe you can turn off the Sounds and you will never hear them again. Whatever you select on that menu will be available on the left side steering wheel selection button.

None of these work. When I turn off vehicle and back on the sounds are there. The only options are to change sounds and nothing to stop the sound.

On my car, there is a menu option to select the sound sources such as usb, XM radio, am, fm, Sounds of Nature, etc. I can put a check mark next to the ones I want to be in the cycle when I press the mode button. I simply uncheck it and it doesn't ever come up.
