I'm in the market for a new phone that is compatible with the 2011 Genesis sedan's DIS. My current iPhone 4 suffers from the well-documented incompatibility with the Genesis that results in an inability to consistently display caller ID. Do you have experience with other phones such as the Galaxy S3 or iPhone 5? Thanks for sharing your experiences.

My iPhone 4S using ios6 synced fine with my 2011 Genesis. Caller ID display has never been a problem.
 
My iPhone 5 works perfectly.
 
Rooted EVO 4G LTE running MeanROM 6.5, works seamlessly.
