  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I was able to adjust my ring volume and that seems to stick, but everytime that I answer a call ... I have to increase the volume a lot to be able to hear the person calling in. I checked my phone volume and it is fine.

Any ideas or suggestions?

it appears that there is a preset volume with the bluetooth. When I make or receive a call, the volume is always at the same level. I immediately have to raise the colume on the steering wheel control. Once that is done, it is easy to hear.

Has anyone had complaints from people calling in that they are hearing an echo? Several people have commented on this to me.

I do like the private call feature that is available. My Lexus didn't have it and it works quickly and easily.

Private call feature? I guess I'll have to take a look at the owners manual about that. Two people that I talk to frequently while in my car complain about poor audio quality, so I'd like to know how to switch from the car speaker to hand-held mode, at least to keep my wife and sister happy.

when youre in talk mode on the phone, look at the screen and to the left on the bottom of the screen are three command options; hold call - private call and mute mic.
Move the round controller to the left and you can choose any of the three.
