Piano black glossy pillar covers....opinions

What do you guys think of these? They would be going on a white car. I think they would look nice as the glossy finish will match the rest of the car.
Has anyone used them? If so can you comment on the fit?

they look ok at the bottom but the top edge will not be flush with the chrome at the top of the doors.

I bet that they will show scratches much more than the matt finish ones.

I think they will look nice.

The dealer put "chrome" ones on my silver Genny. I'll probably remove them. Shows a noticable fingerprint everytime you touch it. Very annoying. Don't think you'd have that problem with the black molding.

Mine are glossy black with a white pinstripe on a platinum car. I haven't noticed any problems with fingerprints. I think they add to the appearance of the car.

I got these from Kapastore on eBay to cover up damage to the OEM finish when I removed a set of chrome covers, which I hated:

+1 I too have the pinstripe style, and they look great on my rebadged Silver/Black 4.6. No fingerprint issues at all, and the fit/finish is very good top and bottom.

Tacky... looks like a piece of plastic glued to the side of the car. Edges dont fit properly and it does not look like they are molded to fit.

If someone wants glossy then why not just replace the matt black decal on the pillars with a glossy one or take the decal off and have the pillar painted black and clear coat.
