  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Can someone take a picture of their ecu, I need to know the manufactuer and see the labels on it. Have another tuner very interested in cracking the ecu of both the 4.6 and 5.0. I have provided him the 4.6 info but I need to get him the 5.0 info to see how similar they are.

So you don't care about the 10yr/100k warranty

Come on. Almost all tuners provide the ability to return to the stock map with no trace.

Not really. There are various measures manufacturers have in place (flash counters, start counters, etc). People claim for example that the Cobb AP is undetectable by on Subarus once flashed back to stock and 'unmarried' but they are dead wrong even by Cobb's own admission.

Well I know with the Genesis coupe 2010-2012 there are no flash counters. Also the other option is to buy a second ecu with the flash on it then you throw the stock one back in for service. It's done regularly in the Genesis Coupe.

That is certainly an option as long as there isn't something like a start/key counter (ECU would get reset when removed from the power source).
