"Pop" coming from transmission

I have this problem every single morning. When the car has sat all night in my garage, and go to move my shift level to reverse, there is a pretty audible popping sound. I can duplicate this every single morning.

Has anybody noticed this?

Funny you should mention this. My ZF does the same thing. The only difference is it is every morning on my way to work, then every evening on my way home (don't drive the car all day).

It almost sounds like the trans is stuck on the parking pall....
