  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Model Year
2022
Genesis Model Type
Genesis GV70
GV70, Did a 2 yr lease on a 2022 ZERO issues for a first generation car.....only b/c people were saying don't get 1st gen car.....
2024 GV70 Advanced 10k
Has anyone ever had their windows magically start closing while driving?? It has happened to me 3 times now. My elbow is always resting on the opened window. Dealer said "can't replicate issue, next time it happens,, record it" WTH!! Sure next time I'll just whip out my phone and record it, like its going to do anything!!
Sensors out of nowhere are chirping, mostly in traffic for no reason.....dealer can't replicate.....
As I'm getting in the car (one foot out the door) seat moves forward almost pinning me to steering.......no issue found.....Gremlins I tell you

I love the car don't get me wrong, but the issues are worse on this model than previous and as usual the dealer says "We can't find any issues"

AGHHHH

It's hard to duplicate these things if they're inconsistent. I have had some chirping and dash warnings (objects too close, etc.) occur occasionally while stopped in traffic, but believe those were mostly due to the sun or headlights reflecting off adjacent vehicles into the cameras.

I can see the seat issue happening, but ONLY AFTER starting the car. My wife is much shorter than me, and driving after she's used it can be a challenge sometimes with the current Profile setup.

The window issue is wild. You might need an exorcist for that one.

Were you approaching a tunnel when the windows closed? IIRC, when you get to a tunnel, the windows will close and air goes to recirc. Many tunnels have nasty air. Does it happen in the same location?

As for chirping sensors, are you talking about the parking sensors? If you get close to some car that also Your front sensor is chatting the the other car's rear or side sensor. Easy fix, leave more distance.

🤣 definitely have to make an appointment with the Vatican. I know there are always minor issues, but these are a bit much. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hi,
No no tunnel, we were in traffic not even moving with plenty of space around the vehicle.
As for the sensors tripping it happens quite frequently. Just did my 10k service and so far no issues.

The tunnel works from the navigation. I don't know if there is any sort of CO detector that would do anything if the stopped traffic made it higher than normal.

This car has a mind of it's own. Weird things happen all the time that isn't necessarily a big deal, but just unexpected. I blame it on the computer. I've never had a computer that didn't do weird stuff sometimes, but then you restart it and it operates normally.

Yup, sometimes too many computers are the actual problems.
