I finally mustered the courage (because of the good instructions I found here in another thread) and replaced the fuel filter in my 2009 4.6 three days ago. It was the first fuel filter change at 90k miles. It all went well. I had no problem starting the car afterwards.
However, for the last two days the check engine light comes on and the logged codes are P2191 (for bank1) & P2193 (for bank2) meaning "System Too Lean at Higher Load". This only happens in the evening when driving home from work. It doesn't happen in the morning when driving to work from home. In the morning car hesitates to start but it does start up about 4 to 5 seconds after the ignition button is pressed. Has anyone have a similar issue? Any input is appreciated. Thank you.
