  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Pricing for 2014 equus just confirmed!!

**also check out HyundaiUSA twitter page and check out the post and pics of the event in Michigan. See also #2014Equus on twitter

The Equus is getting expensive but I still think it's a bargain compared to other vehicles in the segment. The new Lexus LS is nice but the drivetrain is very blah...

OMG..the 2014 Equus may well be a bargain as against a Big BMW or MB
but seriously it's a lot of $'s for a Hyundai.
Don't get me wrong I love "H"'s and had seriously considered upping to the Equus, on consideration I will stay with the Genesis..

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
When you realize it's only like. $1500 or so more than the current models, it's not so bad.

It looks as though the free maintenance went from 5yrs/60k to 3yrs/36k. I dont know if someone made a typo but that's a small let down if its true. But the 3% increase is not drastic compared to all the new features/technology. I just wait to get Bluelink and the headsup display :)

Aw Man!!! And I just enjoyed this on my way home from work :(

" Hyundai, however, has discontinued the driver's seat massage feature for 2014 models."

So you're the one!
In 2 1/2 years I've used it once.
What I'll miss is the power side shades. Though I know they've been gone since 2012, saved only for the Ultimate.
But I am looking forward to the remote start. Cool/heat my car before I'm off the train? Count me in.

ha! yes its me! I actually enjoy it on occasions.... esp since I never get to use the rear massage. I work for Hyundai Motor Finance and I'm a little envious when my co-workers, who drive Sonatas and Santa Fes, get to start their vehicles from their phones using Bluelink. It a plus in these Texas summers. The new E is suppose to go on sale this week but haven't received a specific date... Our website hasn't been updated. I find myself more on this website than the US one... lol

Remember me that I would like to buy your Premium when you are ready.

When I get my 2014, hopefully this week, my dealer will have my 2011 Signature to sell you if you want it. About 25K miles, no dents or dings!
Suburban Chicago is a lot closer to you than Texas...

Update:
Dealers got notice of their first allocations today. Mine is accounted for, but likely arriving in a week or two.
Sigh.

I got a chance to check out the new Signature 2014 Equus yesterday at our local dealer an hour after they received their first one and was impressed at the updates! (Black Noir Pearl w/ Jet Interior)

1. The new subtle changes to the grill are nice (has a gray-ish matte finish w/ chrome vs black finish w/ chrome)
2. The LED fog lights add a high end touch
3. The new interior is enhanced tremendously
4. The Nav graphics are like those in the new Kia’s ( i.e. Kia Cadenza)… Im 50/50 on this… The 2013 street graphics and markings seem a little crisper
5. The BSD (Blind Spot Detection) is a integrated very well
6. The outside rearview mirrors are larger and “Auto” Fold in and up when locking the doors and “Auto” Fold out when you grab the exterior door handles(Unlocking)
7. The front wheel wells are “felt” / carpeted like the rear wheel wells. ( I was always shocked that the Genesis had this but the 2011-2013 Equus had plastic front wheel wells)
8. The rear HVAC display for the 3-zone climate control is very crisp and has a bright blue display
9. The new Turbine wheels make the car looks HIGH CLASS!!!
10. The new DIS and buttons have a nice high quality feel and use
11. The new front seats and a lot more comfortable than the current Equus seats.. Good job Hyundai!!
12. The new key fobs are the same as the new Sante Fe design. Very nice!! (Didn’t get a chance to see the credit car fob)
13. The new Signature instrument cluster is impressive and has nice start up/ exit graphics
14. Now when starting the car, the Nav goes straight to map mode instead of hitting the “Enter” but to agree
15. I love how they have updated the stalks for the blinkers and windshield wipers… they have nice strip of “chrome plastic” on the top of them

***Im not sure why the LEXICON sound system was rated at 608 watts but now is rated at 598 watts. Don’t know why they reduced it 10 watts***

That's awesome! What did you get again? Waiting is always the hardest part! lol......Congrats again!

Brown/Ivory Signature. It left port this week after replacing the RR seat (discoloration), replacing a tire or tire valve (hard to tell from their shorthand), and adjusting a knee air bag assembly (improper installation).
23 miles on it and now on a train.
Trying to be patient....
;)

Oh no! That stinks! I feel your pain... Did they give you an ETA?
