  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hyundai Dealer wanted to charge $50 in labor and approx $50 for the parts. Grab the part from Amazon:
FRAM CF10735
It was approximately $20 delivered and to replace it is dead simple...

Take 4minutes.
1. Open Glove Box
2. Unscrew and take inward simple knobs on left/right side.
3. Globe Box drops
4. Press the clip on the left hand side
5. Then swap in/out the new filter.

Boom, you're done. The one I got on amazon felt much more robust than the Hyundai standard issue. Now, I'm certain many of you have done this on other cars before, this is just a gentle reminder that you can manage this simple maintenance yourself. You can also consult your car manual for some better pictures/descriptions.

The whole reason why I did this replacement is to test whether or not the moldy smell was affected by the cabin air filter. It's not very humid here right now so I can't tell yet. Stay tuned.
