  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi fellas,
I had an accident. On the highway, I was hit by a stork bird. It was an awful hit...
My windshield is gone.
The dealer repaired, they told me that the rain sensor is gone also. They told me sensor is ordered.
Today I saw that the light sensor is also gone. Auto lights are not working, the car feels that it's night all the time.

Today on my windshield is missing the sensor with the four diodes.
I have tested all other assists and systems this evening, and only the automatic rain whipers and automatic lights are the issues, the auto high beam is working well.

Did someone knows if the rain and light sensors are in-one?

the conclusion is that the rain sensor and the light sensor are in-one.
when the windshield is changed the silicon of the sensor is damaged and it needs to be replaced.
we put the old sensor now and the auto lights are working normaly
