  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a month old 2020 GV70 AWD 3.5T Sport Prestige and I am having some issues and I am wondering if I am the only one.

Navigation: the speed limit that Genesis displays (when I am using Apple Car Play for Google Maps, Waze etc.) as the posted speed limit is crazy periodically (for example 90mph, 87 mph, 63???mph) these will be displayed as I pass posted signs for 40mph etc. I don't know whether it does it for Genesis Navigation because the only time I used Genesis Nav was when my Iphone 7 Plus overheated and shut down all of Apple Play. The dealership said it was because navigation is only updated twice a year-which totally doesn't make sense-what difference would that make--the crazy inaccurate speeds it displays were never accurate.

NEXT ISSUE: Iphone 7 Plus overheated and shut down: I was told that I could only use Apple Car Play wired because wireless interferes with Navigation. I use Apple Car Play so my phone has to be plugged in all the time. Additionally- because it is a 7- it is not capable with the wireless charger but I had been keeping the phone there while wired because there is nowhere to set it in the car. I did not leave my phone in a warm car, the A/C was on. This has never happened to my phone before this. Is my phone being fried by the wireless charging space? Any ideas of how to avoid this?

Also- are you using the keyless finger id start? you still need to carry the key fob to get into the car, right? or do you also do digital entry with phone and then-what do you not carry the fob with you? I am confused.

Many thanks in advance for help for this newbie.
