  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Model Type
2G Genesis Sedan (2015-2016)
2015 Genesis 3.8 sedan….Been out of state for a while- battery died! ( original battery I believe)

Tow truck was called and jumped
The car which my wife then drove to the dealer to get it replaced……

Issues that have now come up since:

1) I have the brake light on( dealer claims that the brake fluid level sensor is bad!? Level is good though.

2) the driver door will not lock or unlock - tried both the key fob and the door lock itself. All the other doors seem to lock and unlock fine. Wife is having to use the key.

Any ideas on these 2 issues. This is the first issue I have had with this car🙁 not sure how they are related to the battery dying, and then being replaced?

Thabks
