Several ongoing problems with G90 Ultimate, purchased in Nov 2016:
1. Have to press start button twice to start. First press makes a sound like a partial start. This happens daily, usually when the car hasn't been running recently.
2. Have to shift several times to get into Drive. First few attempts, the shift bounces back to the prior gear (usually Reverse). This happens daily, usually when the car hasn't been running recently. Most often when the car is in Reverse then trying to shift to Drive (e.g., backing out of a parking space, then trying to go forward). Sometimes the shifter gets stuck between gears and I when I nudge it up or down, it drops into gear.
3. Driver's headrest is too far forward. Yes, I know there are various headrest and seat adjustments, but these are not enough to prevent the problem.
My local dealer (Hampton Hyundai) does not acknowledge or know how to fix these problems.
My prior cars were Lexus LS sedans. These kinds of problems rarely showed up in those cars. The few problems that did show up were handled competently by Lexus service. Ongoing G90 service problems may force me back to Lexus.
