problems tinting windows?

Anyone have problems with window tint adhering to the edges of the rear window? Specifically the little (dots) on the rear window make it difficult to lay the tint properly. Anybody have solutions?

Glue stick is your friend on the dot matrix,

If you have it done by a pro shop, it's not going to be an issue. There will be some space between those dots, but it's minute unless you break out a microscope. If you plan on doing it yourself, you better have the tools, the space and most importantly the experience. Or else you are gonna be really sorry. I have Madico ceramic tint all the way around and cost $200 with lifetime warranty out the door.

I did mine myself, get some good squeegee's all shapes and sizes, get a glue stick, some ammonia to clean with a some razor blades, a big piece of glass, and use good tint, take some baby powder and apply it to the clean window and i mean clean use ammonia, Windex and clean it with a blade then clean it again with a rag, after that dry and then lay down some baby powder, put down your tint on the window cut it to rough shape then take a hair dryer or heat gun and not using lots of heat slowly shrink it down around the window if this is the back, till its a nice shape, next spray bottle with water spray it and squeegee it while heat gunning to get a perfect fit, take the perfected tint and place on glass, remove adhesive and Frankenstein it in the back seat, use glue stick all around the dot matrix and squeegee from the center out pulling all bubbles, if you get a tiny bubble sun will kill it..
