Purchasing GV60 after losing the tax credit

I am still waiting for my GV60 Avdavnced model, which I am expecting to get in a couple of weeks. But ever since Tax rebate for $7500 is gone, I am now thinking of going with some other car.
Have any one successfuly buy a GV60 below MSRP or got some sort of discount after losing the tax rebate?
I feel like I am losing money purchasing GV60.

Nothing signed. The dealer ssid they can't do anything without a VIN#.

Once you get the GV60 you will feel like you won the lottery.

The statement you are losing money is strange to me. You would spend $60K just to get $7.5K? Get the GV60 because it is AMAZING! I am not getting the $7500 because the bill was signed a week before I got mine. But I wanted this GV60, the tax credit was not a factor in my decision and shouldn't be in yours. Get the GV60 because it is spectacular! You will be very happy.
Or get another EV that gets you this credit and have a subpar EV compared to the GV60. The GV60 is much better than anything in the price range.

Hoping you follow through with the purchase, your happiness depends on it!

Understood on paper but in person, I am SO happy I got the Performance trim. It delights me.

I am not quite sure how I justified the extra $9K, but I am sure glad I did. Turns out, the upgraded interior/seats really matter to me....and the boost button matters to someone else in my house.

No idea how I justified it either but...compared to Ioniq 5. Extra 100 HP is awesome. Boost is awesome+. Suspension upgrades are really good love the way it rides. Upgraded brakes are fantastic. 21" wheels to me are one of the best looking wheels out there. Seats are great, use the massage function on daily 1.25 hour drives. LSD does really make it corner better. Really like the stereo. Love the surround view. Active noise control seems to help as well.

Thank God my Uyeuni White/Torrent Blue GV60 Performance was delivered on time by Genesis Of Cherry Hill (NJ) on August 1st (and I could trade in my 2018 Tesla Model S 75D which I had for 4 years since new...).

SO NOW...I will easily qualify again for the "old" $7,500 tax credit on this year's tax return (like I did 4 years ago when I bought the Tesla ) having beat the signing of the "Inflation Reduction Act on August 16th, by 2 weeks!

BTW, my new GV60 is just fabulous and has EVERYTHING my Tesla Model S should have had in a luxury vehicle (and which was originally $30K more than the GV60). It has just about all the latest collision and safety technologies standard, numerous convenience features, plenty of PHYSICAL vehicle buttons/controls (and not menu selections that are 2-3 levels in like for HVAC and Seat/Steering Wheel Heaters, etc.), many standard Performance Upgrades, the luxurious Nappa Leather Interior and so many other extras and accessories that come standard like TWO Factor Biometric vehicle security along with Apple Car Play and Apple iPhone AND Watch digital keys that works almost flawlessly, and lastly not to mention the decent 17 speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system with the newest SiriusXM "Plus" tuner.

I actually think the car is a bargain for $70K when I compare it to what I had in my "loaded" Tesla Model S AND even when you compare it to Genesis' just announced Newly revised 2023 G90 ICE flagship, which is supposed to be around $95-100K! Meanwhile its smaller sibling, the GV60 Performance, has almost EVERY feature that the new '23 G90 has and all the same included technologies for some $25-30K LESS and the GV60 is an EV while the G90 is an ICE vehicle!

Go ahead and compare the feature and technology list of the 2 vehicles, side by side, and you'll see they are almost, item by item, the same equipped vehicle, except one model (GV60) is a compact sport ultility EV and the other (G90) is a "luxobarge" ICE sedan.

I think I made the wiser purchase choice for my money .

- No 3-zone or 4 zone HVAC control~!?
- No remote rear bench fold down in the cargo.
- No 40/20/40 split bench.
- No storage for tonneau cover under cargo floor.
- Poor rear passenger toe (foot well) has no room. (If compare to Model 3/Y; which can fit a soda can straight-up underneath).

Who knows what the future has in store, but the 3/4-zone heat, tonneau storage, and rear foot room items seem to be significant structural changes, which I suspect are highly unlikely to happen prior to a new generation.

I'm sure, the Genesis team in Korea has in-field customer survey team about all the above.
It's just the cost associate to these, might not be marketable or suited for the individual market.
At that point, the GV70e might just be a better step up product.

I purchased and picked up my new GV60 last week. No tax rebate and above MSRP. No regrets. Weeks of research led me to this car and even without the rebate, I think it's one of the best built cars for that price range.

I sense a lot of creative writing here but I do believe you seem to like the GV60 a bunch after coming from a Tesla. I am adding this to my 2016 Model X for some of the same hopefully changes/additions; wanted a more "premium" daily driver. What you've mentioned has me excited for delivery!

You will not be disappointed... Love the GV60P so far-similar performance to MYP, but leaps in bounds ahead in quality...
I had my 22 Tesla MYP for 6 month/8k miles and didn't like it one bit... Suspension, materials, body panel fit, wind noise, squeaks and rattles, terrible auto wipers, phone, which could be answered/disconnected only form the small icon on the central screen, the screen itself with tiny fonts, dreadful driver interface and of course terrible customer service (last OTA update broke that too and it sounds like it's still not fixed). To get to talk to someone is a challenge...
In 2019 I owned MS P100D, which I traded after 8 months. Was hoping things got better at Tesla, but nope...

see my post showing, without dealer markups, the GV60 Advanced , Model 3 LR and Ioniq 5 Limited Purchase costs are within a few hundered dollars of one another. Model 3 should qualify for at least a $3,500 rebate in 2023 but that depends on how the IRA law is finally interpreted.

a lot of wishful thinking here. I'd be happy with wireless carplay, navigation with EV charge planning, and HDA2, which are more doable than some of the physical changes on your list.

I just picked up a wireless CarPlay adapter. I’d highly recommend it. Improvements to the navigation system would be high on my list of desirable improvements.
