  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Got a 2010 4.6 and there is a very slight whistle when accelerating through 65 MPH. It's coming from the front of the car under the hood. In a lot of cars you wouldn't even be able to hear it, but the Genesis is so quiet that it's fairly audible.

Anybody else got this problem? Was thinking of taking it to the dealer, or maybe saving the hassle and swapping out the air filter. Not sure if that will fix the problem.

I have a whistle/howling noise coming from the rear of the car...occasionally. When I saw your post I was excited until I heard you say it was from the front.

Mine just sounds like wind is blowing over something causing it to make noise...like blowing over a top of a coke bottle noise... Only can hear it when then radio is off or way down.

Check for leaves and pine straw in front areas. Here in Athens GA I have to clean out leaves and pine straw under the hood in all my vehilces. I clean it out not only to stop noise but to prevent drain clogs.

I had a whistle/ air noise coming from the passenger side rear of the car. I narrowed it down to the rear passenger door. With the window all the way up, I get the air noise. If I tap the window down just a hair , it goes away. I mean just tap the window control. All the way up, noise. A hair tapped down, quiet.
