  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Re: Quieter

What oil did you (or dealer) use? Brand, type, viscosity.

The docket said:- Service Kit
5W20 + Oil Filter.. As they are Hyundai dealers I did not go into what make of oil..

I doubt they would use Full synthetic as the servicing is at their cost (part of the deal).. In the past as with the "G" I have always changed oil and filter at around
1000-1500 miles after initial delivery & thereafter at around every 5-6k miles..
As I change cars frequently I don't have the need for Full synthetic. Although I will say I used Full synthetic in my Azera and that was as sweet after 4yrs hard motoring as it was on day one..I loved that car and was sad "H" redesigned as they did. The "G" has a heavier feel. It sorta says, treat me right and I will go forever."" My eye got caught on the new Jag F"" man what a car, I had an S type, Mk10 and XJ6, my bro had the XJS...All typically fraught with the usual Jag QC issues, but oh what drivers cars they are..
Drive Safe.....
