  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Well, I think I have a new variation on an old problem. The AM & FM tuner produces no sound but everything else does: Sirius XM/Bluetooth/NAV/CD--it all works. I don't see any fuse issue. Has anyone seen this before? Thanks in advance. This is for a 2013 Genesis 3.8 with both packages.

Antenna connection? It is different from the XM antenna.

If that happened to my car I'd never know it. I've never used AM/FM in it.

Recently replaced the (original) battery myself and the radio magically started working again. Now, however, I can't open the trunk electronically. Can't pop the trunk from inside the car (hear the noise but it doesn't disengage). Can't open it outside the car with the key fob or manually using the button. Only way is to insert the key. Anyone have any thoughts? When I use the button on the driver door it makes the unlock sound but nothing happens. I've also made sure the glove box trunk lock button is in the proper position. Thanks.

Try this.
Open it with the key and lift the trunk lid to the fully open position.
Press the close switch on the inside of the trunk lid while pressing the open switch on the outside of the trunk lid. Hold both for at least three seconds, till a beeper sounds.
Now close the trunk lid fully by hand.
Press the outside open switch. There should be some beeping and the lid should open fully. Wait till it is done beeping, then close with the inside switch.

Thanks very much--worked like a charm! Nothing beeped but the trunk is fully operational.
