  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I drive a 2011 Genesis 4.6 Sedan. I've have issues with both AM and FM reception. I even had dropped signals with my brief period of free XM. The dropped signals are only brief and always in the same place. I live in Southern California, where drivers push the fm scan button and there are so many stations that it stops at almost every other digital frequency reading. My FM reception in my Genesis? It may stop at around 4-6 places. my AM reception is basically all engine noise. I have tinted widows, but no idea what type. My reception has always been horrible, even before window tinting. I've given up on my bluetooth, which drops my phone connection all the time. I only listen to my iPod or CDs now, which doesn't bother me as much as most. I'm still within my extended warranty period. It's a Lexicon System. If I take the car to the dealer, will I be told that the tint voided the warranty? If so, is there an antenna solution without much expense?
