Radio touch screen dim on start up

2011 Genesis 3.8 touch screen is rather dim on start up cold, then 2 minutes or so comes back to full brightness. Is this a sign it's going out? I can live with it presently, but concerned for future.
 
Well, it's certainly not normal.
 
Yup happens to me often...thought it was normal
 
Mine will dim only in extremely cold temperatures. Like below 20 degrees F. Full brightness within a minute or two.
