Since this is public, I'll leave out some details. Very...recently...I had a "Mad Max" moment. I was leaving a nightlife area in...some...city...after dinner and...beverages. There's a transition to interstate with a very nice swoopy left-hander dip, a sweet little handling tester.
A group of fast sport bikes were well ahead of me and I'd let them go, as the area...appeared to be...a very good place to get busted. Yet, another two bikes came up behind me very fast after the curve, and I let one pass. Yet, he slowed and looked over at me and then hit it HARD, and instantly I thought "why not?" and lit up the Coupe, downshifting to wind out 3rd, 4th and much of 5th. We went from 70 to 140 MPH in a short stretch and I was on actually his tail the whole time, then we cruised in 6th for a bit around 140+. I used to ride sport bikes and I know how fast they are, and while I didn't have time to scope that bike, it was very quick, yet the Coupe hung with it. We slowed back down just as quickly to join the other bikes as they were getting off soon, so I bid fairwell
We all get our sport driving "moments" here and there, but in today's safetycrat feminized freakout driving world, this was truly awesome
