  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has anyone replaced the rear bumper on a 22+ with the previous generation? It looks like it would be a direct swap. There is the matter of license plate mounting but that can be solved rather easily. I did a quick photo chop, and I quite like the look.

It does look better. But that diffuser is not the stock 3.3 diffuser for the 2019-2021 G70s? It looks aftermarket.

Also, just an FYI: the rear bumper, reflectors, and diffuser are all separate pieces.

Correct. It is an aftermarket one. I just pulled one of the first stock photos that came up to use for the edit.

I can guarantee you this woudn't work
The bumpers have the same attachment points, and slightly different part numbers. Also, the angle of the bumper below the taillights is different.

Also, the facelift rear bumper has the reverse lights integrated into it. The pre-facelift has reverse lights integrated into the taillights. There is no way around that besides custom wiring.
