@joschneider - I've been lucky so far I guess, and depends on the dog. In my case without another vehicle I have no choice.
Great Pyrenese / Australian Shepherd cross 7 months old so doesn't need to stand on the door sill to look out or anything as he's pretty tall already. I bought one of those seat covers off Amazon for the rear seats. Does the job and easy to take in/out.
Biggest Challenges:
- Paws off the leather center armrest/console cover.
- Acknowledging the rear windows will never be clear again.
- Acknowledging dog fur will be the new norm.
- Keeping your s!$#% together taking corners for the sake of the dog. lol
