  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Good Night all,
bluelink app can start car but anyone know if there is a way to control heat/ac? I don't see it available on app so I assume no but wanted to ask the experts.

could I leave heat on before shutting off to which it would be "on" when I start it or no.

Not sure on your model but on most, touch "remote" and the "start/stop" and there are options for climate.

That aside, leave the controls when you shut it off and it should give you heat or AC

That is it for my app. I'm going to try and leave heat on and heated seats and steering and see what comes back on

Don't know if this applies, but to adjust temp on my 2020 G80, I need to go on the Genesis Owners website not the app.

The only car I had that kept the seats on was my 2010 Sonata. All others did not. sure would be nice though. The heat should go to the last setting.

Just finished testing the theory
Turned on heated steering wheel, seats and heat. Shut off car. Waited about 10mins and remote started
Heated steering wheel and heat were on. Seats turned off. That is huge cause the heated seats are quick.
The question is am I doing any damage to heat/ac by turning off while on??

Nope. Been doing that for over 50 years. When I finally got remote start I'd often set the controls to what I'd want the next morning, like defrost in winter.

Controlling the temp, steering wheel heat on, and mirror defrost works from the website and not the app on the phone. Hope this helps.
