Yes is true and it will cost more. There are three different packages, Connected Care, Remote and Guidance, having all three is more than $99 a year.

It's basically cell service for your car. Don't let anyone at Genesis hear this but $100 a month isn't that bad.

Aftermarket remote. Break even is about 18 months.

I have a remote start button on my key fob instead of the horn button on yours .. I have a middle eastern G70
We have a different fob here, cuz we don’t have those online functions down here

U can buy a middle eastern key fob ,, but not sure how to reprogramm it on your car

True. When they first rolled out this system it was 99$ for all 3 and a couple years down the road I think they raised it to 150 or so. Don't know if it's the price now. One trick a salesman told me is when calling to cancel your service tell them it's too expensive and if they drop the price a bit you will buy it and they will place a discount. Haven't tried it myself though!
