Does remote start work on our cars? Was wondering since we have to hit the brake and push the button.

It will not start without keyfob, I once installed one in a Pontiac Bonnieville
and the factory alarm went off every time it started, took a while to figure out.

I would think utilizing an after market option that uses a smart phone, iPhone, Blackbeery, Android would make more sense as it would less to carry around.

After searching and reading about issues, Im gonna hold off and just run out and start the car, then run back in.

Flash-it.com shows it has a bypass module/software to do it. It shows it's not an easy install but do-able. So if it's something you're serious about, be prepared. I'd say it could be somewhat costly.

Sitting in my living room with about 15"-20" of snow outside and my Genesis is running thanks to my Droid X & the viper smart start and no i did not give up one of my key fob's

life can be beautiful at times
