In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. remove wiper blade

You need to put the wipers in maintenance mode.

"Are you familiar with the wiper blade change position? If not, within a few seconds of shutting your engine off, push the wiper control stalk up and hold until the blades rise vertical. They’ll hold that position for maintenance until restarting the engine."
