  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I just did mine. Pulled the mirror off with a plastic flat bar. Disconnect wires from mirror carefully and place aside. Removed all screws ...however do not remove the 2 far left silver colour screws ( made a mistake and I did and one screw is now not right)...remove short black ones only, then loosen Silver screw from center of motor...pull off slowly
Then used screwdriver inside house to creat a gap on the outside, inserted old credit card and pried off black facevaround mirror. Then the lower part of the housing also comes off. Upper housing did not come off.wiggled the led strip out with a bit of flexing...and removed wires. Had to flex upper housing without breaking and wiggled led after reconnecting the wire. Then put everything back in reverse.

There was a YouTube video I used...google avante and led mirror
