If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Hi all. 2012 4.6. Replaced the clock spring due to it beginning to bind up. Wheel turns nice and smooth again but now my ESC and Cruise control lights are on and do not function. Everything was plugged back in how it belongs. I think it may be the steering angle sensor needing to be re-calibrated. Anyone know anything about this? Thanks!

UPDATE: Turns out when I pulled the steering angle sensor off the old clock spring, it wasn't centered correctly. I scanned the car with an Autel MD808. SAS was reading 360 degrees. Took the clock spring off again, pulled the SAS, turned it clockwise one full rotation and reinstalled. Fixed (y) FYI, dealer couldn't answer basic questions about SAS function and what the default SAS value should be. But they were very capable of quoting me around $200 for an SAS re-calibration. If the Autel that I used had the newest software update I could have re-calibrated the SAS myself. But it takes all of 10 minutes to get the clock spring and SAS out and back in.

You need to reset SAS valve.
I suggest you buy a Hyundai GDS VCI to reset it by yourself.
