Recently, I needed to replace the OEM tires on my 2016 Equus due to normal wear and wanted anything but the same tires. So I did some research online and bought BF Goodrich G-Force Comp-A/S Plus since they are available in both needed sizes. Holy cow, what a difference! Gone was the spinning right rear (5.0 V8) when making 90 deg turns with anything but very light throttle. Gone was the following of road ruts too. I had to drive through a cloud burst the other day and the car was completely stable. I no longer need to steal the wife's G80 AWD when the weather turns wet.
In the past, the car was unusable in winter, here in the north east on anything but dry roads or fresh snow. Packed snow or ice and it was scary and I've driven in Buffalo, NY snow/ice most of my life with rear wheel drive cars (and front wheel drive too) going all the way back to a '55 Mercury. So I bought a set of Pirelli snows which helped somewhat. So while not exactly looking for winter to arrive, I am interested in if I will need to install my set of snow tires come next winter.
