  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey guys - has anyone ever had the front facing grill camera on a 2022 G70 replaced before and what did the stealership charge you? Mine took a rock and is cracked. I thought I would do it myself but I'm hearing all about calibration being expensive. I was on a road trip and all the functions seemed to work fine like cruise control spacing, crash warning, etc.

I'd like to do this myself but don't want to sacrifice some sort of crash avoidance functionality.

Any thoughts?

Thanks all!!

I have replaced the front camera on my 2022 G70. I think the quote from the dealer was something around $1600, because they replace everything not just the camera. I looked on ebay, found just the camera, bought it for around $85 (used but perfect condition) and installed it myself. Watched a video on youtube about removing the bumper and the whole process took about 1.5 to 2 hours. I was extra cautious on the removal and replacement. I'm getting ready to pull the bumper again to replace a bad sensor. I hoping the whole process will be less than an hour.
