  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2010 Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track with only 44,000 miles, but a year ago the touchscreen on my console stopped working. I can still operate the radio using voice command, run the HVAC using the hard buttons, etc. I finally took it to the dealer and they said that part is discontinued.

Long story short (I know, too late for that) I found a used unit to just swap out everything, not just the screen. I haven't installed it yet, but before I do I have one
QUESTION: Do I need to do anything to make this unit operate correctly with my VIN #? Someone told me I would have to contact a Hyundai dealer with the info on the unit. Has anyone done this before?
