  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Resolution to flutter at 25-30 mph

Yes, agreed. I thought it was the hard rubber that was getting cold and not flexible, causing the vibration. Once it warmed up, the rubber reshaped itself.

Someone once stated at that when you turn the car off and it's warm, the weight of the drive shaft will pull the rubber down and it will harden into that shape.
Could make sense thinking back on circumstances. There is a margin of how bad the vibration is even with the same ambient temperature and timespan the car sits. Occasionally when the car sits for 9 hours at work and it’s the same temperature outside when I go home the vibration is worse (exaggerative term it’s still a smaller margin) than other days. Wonder if it could be because if the rubber does warp sometimes it’s in a slightly more off shape than other times. I also park my car on quite an inclined slope at work and the vibration doesn't seem as worse compared to when it’s parked on a flat surface, again small margin difference. Just thinking about if what you are saying has any truth to it the slope would cause the driveshaft to pull differently on the rubber when it cools. Maybe over thinking but came to mind.
