  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I really like the way that the new infotainment looks compared to the 8" screen that is currently in the G70s. Will it be possible to buy the new infotainment screen and put it into 2019-21 G70s in the future?

anything is possible with enough money.

the real question will be is it worth it? and the answer is going to be no

Judging from other swaps tried I'd give it a "no" too. Could be from a different supplier, different cable connectors, different computer programming and more. Could be cheaper to trade up.

The prices for these infotainment screens are absurd and you can be certain that more than just the screen would be needed if it's even possible. You'll have no support with the project as nobody else will be taking on such a task.

I have the old screen while we have the new screen in our 2021 Santa Fe. I don't see it as anything to get excited about. I certainly wouldn't pay more money for it.

I would think the dash is also different to accommodate the wider base. The real didficult issue is simply the ECU interface. Nothing works in a different version of a vehicle anymore unless the ECU can be convinced to play along.
