Rim rash from touching a side curb on gv70 prestige

Any advice on repairing the edge of my rim that touched a curb? My GV70 is the sport prestige model and has low profile tires and a normal tire and rim would have not been damaged by touching a curb. It’s at the very edge of the rim about 6 inches in length. I would hate to have to buy a new rim but the suv has only 3,000 miles. I’m bummed!

There are places that repair wheel curb rash. Google for your area. Much cheaper than replacement and most times, you can't even tell it happened after the repair.

Mine was $175 + tax to fix and paint. Turned out great.

Aren’t the 21 inch wheels powder coated..

I would assume so. Might be painted and clear coated.

How did they do that for $125.. or did the just paint a close color to the original rim..
