  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I couldn't find any threads on this (just a few comments on other threads) so hopefully this leads to a new discussion...

I will likely be signing up for my first road rally (American Gumball) in the next week or two. I've done a little reading and have found a few road rally videos on YouTube. Overall, it looks fun and good way to network with like-minded people.

Can anyone share their experiences and what you liked and didn't like about your road rally? How crazy/creative do you get with the decals and what do they normally run, all in?

This is all new to me so figured I would reach out to the Genesis group for comment.

Which rally specifically? I am the organizer of the Arkansas Gumball Rally (associated with the National Gumball Rally LLC) and the Express Rally events. I have done many rallies and each of them have been a great networking opportunity. Here are some shots of my cars in the events and links to the videos of the events I have organized. Feel free to ask anything you want as I have been on both the participant and organizer side.

And finally my wife's Cayenne in the Holiday Hoon and my Shelby in the Gumball a few years ago:

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I modified the Genesis to be a road rally car - you'll be seeing plenty of pictures of it stickered up with the Arkansas Gumball, Southern Express, and Holiday Hoon all taking place in 2016.

I see you are in Ohio. I assume its the Ohio Gumball Rally. Please PM me if you want to discuss what some better options might be. Sadly some of these events don't live up to the hype and are poorly organized. I was certainly let down with my expectations when I went to Michigan for my first one. That is the main reason I organized my own and started another company to do events more geared towards what my expectations were.
