Anyone experiencing rough idle in drive when the AC compressor kicks in? My dealer claims that they can't feel it. I know it's AC related because it doesn't happen in the cold months. If I try to increase the RPM slightly, it doesn't go away. It didn't start until they replaced the tires and recalibrated the engine for the lower speed Michelins. Sounds weird, but that's when it surfaced. It feels like something in the AC compressor is "bent". Help!!

Never mind. I took it to the dealer today and made them sit behind the wheel and showed them what was going on. It turned out to be the electric fan. It starts wobbling when it comes on and the vibration goes all through the car. I was only feeling it during warm months and this explains why. The dealer ordered the entire assembly.

I never heard of "recalibrating" an engine due to new tires.

Unless you plan on going more than 149 MPH, not really a concern.
