Rust spots

I'm new to this forum and own a 2015 G2 black Genesis Sedan. Has anyone else had an issue with rust spots on the medal trim around the front grill? Its also on all the skinny trim within the grill and along the bottom front of the lower metal trim. I tried a metal cleaner which helped a little but not completely gone.

i don't have any rust yet but mine had rock chips in the black finish. touched up with flat black touch up paint and can't even tell anymore. you could buy a touch up paint and cover it up if its not too large area.

Ok, thanks! I'm specifically talking about the silver tin/flat looking metal around the outside of grill and the slim silver bars within the grill and around the fog light. If its just mine then I will bring it up with the dealership.

I guess nobody else has this issue which is good. I brought mine to the dealership in my city and they are covering it on warranty. They said it was under the surface and can't explain what may have caused this issue. Anyways I'm getting it replaced soon.

I had the rust issues on my 2015. I had the dealer replace the trim around the windows a few months ago and the rust is starting to show again.

Wow, that's crazy that rust is showing, but you should be covered under the warranty for that!
