Samsung note 3 storage?

I am thinking about changing from my old I phone 4s to the new Samsung note 4 when it comes out. Does anyone have the note 3 and does it fit in the front compartment?

I have a Note 3 and with the smallest possible adapter and a 6" cable, the phone fits, albeit at an angle, and the cover closes.

Based on what I've been reading about the Note 4 specs, you should be fine.

Just went to the local VZW store to take a peak at the Note 4 to have a look at the size.

It will fit easily.

Thanks! At first look it really seems big but when I put my phone away and play with it for a few minutes the size doesn't bother me at all. The note 3 is a really good deal right now but I think I will get the note 4 for the better camera. I do want to make sure it would fit in the front compartment so again, thanks for the input!

I intended to hold out for the Note 4 (had a Droid 4 before, and I seriously miss the keyboard), but my driveway and my phone had a rather hasty introduction.

Just so I know, what area are you calling "the front compartment?" If it's where the usb and 12v plugs are, if you've plugged the phone in to a cable to charge in one of the ports even an iphone 5 in a case won't fit in there CLOSED ... or do you mean open?

My 6 fits with the cover closed, but it doesn't have a case. When fitting a larger phone it helps to put the front side down at an angle and plug the USB into the car after the phone is positioned.

My iPhone 5s in a case fits fine and the cover closes with no issue (shown open here so you can see phone laying flat):

Saw your pic earlier and THANK YOU! Inspired me to buy a short cable and hope it will let me fit mine in. I, however do have a bulkier case. My other concern is just the personal if it ain't in view I'll bet I keep forgetting it.

*Sigh* Ain't no such thing as perfect is there?!
