  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has anyone else had an issue with their seat heater button not staying on? My driver side seat heater button will go on for 300 seconds to a minute or so, then it goes off and won't work until the car has been turned off and started again. This is in my 2010 Hyundai Genesis 4.6. I had a 2014 Kia Sorento that did the same thing. Is this an issue with Hyundai in general? Does anyone know what causes it and what fixes it?

Mine does this on very cold mornings below about freezing temps. The fix for me has always been to not use any setting other than low on the seat heater in these conditions as it must be overheating perhaps and thus preventing it from working till the car has been restarted.
