  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Is there a way to make the Jukebox [2016 Ultimate AWD] play all of the files in a folder, then move on to the next folder and play all of the files in it, etc.?

I can get it to play the files in a folder, in order, but only if it keeps playing that folder endlessly. Shuffle is not an option, since each folder contains files that are for the movements of a symphony. Naturally, I want to hear the first movement, followed by the other movements in correct order.

As I recall, my 2013 did this without any special effort. The 2016 seems to offer only shuffle and repeat. Neither are a good choice.

My 15 Ultimate does this. Plays each folder's contents in order, then moves on to the next folder.

It is possible that I am doing something wrong when I select the play mode. Unfortunately, I couldn't find an answer in the owner's manual. I will have to do some more experimenting with the play list.

I did notice that if I go to the last track in the folder and hit "next" while it is playing - it then goes back to the first track in that folder. However - if I let the song complete, it then goes to the first track in the next folder.

That is strange. I think the Jukebox and USB work the same. I will try to test it further by using a USB. It is strange that there is no discussion of how this works in the manual.

I have this same issue with my 2015 Ultimate 3.8. It loops the songs in a folder over and over with no option to move to next folder. As I have many folders with only a few songs in each, it renders the jukebox mostly useless to me.

Is there any good reason(s) to put tunes in the Jukebox vs. using a removable USB thumbdrive?
