I'm sure my used 2017 Genesis G80 still has its original exhaust system. I have a practice of driving until the water temperature gauge shows the car is fully heated up before I turn off the engine. I've done that with all the cars I've driven for the last 40 years. I do that so the condensation will become completely evaporated and keep my exhaust system from rusting prematurely.
I had a discussion today and a neighbor told me, "A car that nice would have a stainless steel exhaust, so you don't need to do that warming up stuff". I want to know if that's true and I'm being silly with my habit of heating the car fully before turning off the engine.
