G70 - 899
G80 - 133
G90 - 96

Another ho hum month for the G70.

G80 sales are predictably at a trickle as the new model is set to launch later this month (or early October).

Wonder what happened to G90 sales; tight supply, cutback on incentives?

Genesis dealerships have been hurting the past several months; on avg, selling about 4 vehicles/month, so that means that there are some selling 1-2 or even 0.

The GV80 and new G80 can't get here soon enough.

I occasionally check the inventory of my two close dealers and their stock is way down from 6-8 months ago, all models. 7 instead of 24 and 13 instead of 48, that range of difference.

It seem like Genesis has had no marketing around the existing vehicles since they launched. I suspect they're saving the cash for the new model launches. I get a little tired of trying to explain the brand to people who ask about my car.

^ That would be my guess as well, big push upon the launch of the GV80 and new G80.

May be a new circumstance or limited to your local dealers, as Genesis has had higher levels of inventory than most other lux brands (figure, mostly the G70) over the past couple of months.

The financial crisis triggered by the pandemic finally spread out wide enough to affect the higher-end income consumer base. This is just the beginning, we will see much worse cases down the road.

We're starting to see the 2021 models with the new wheels trickle in at certain dealerships, so this is probably just a transition period between the two model years.

Genesis Korea - 10,291 (77,358 YTD)

G70 - 451 (6,103)
G80 - 6,040 (39,133)
GV80 - 2,918 (24,744)
G90 - 882 (7,378)

Stinger - 466 (2,336)
Mohave - 1,288 (15,289)
K9 - 556 (6,070)

Mercedes - 5,958
BMW - 5,275
Audi - 2,528

Think this is the 1st time the Stinger has outsold the G70 - likely due to the FL, whereas the G70 FL is still pending.

New Carnival/Sedona - 2nd best seller for the month after the Grandeur with 10,130 sold.

Canada Q3 - 330 (784)

Australia - 28
G70 - 19
G80 - 9

(Note - Genesis presently only available in Sydney.)

The Lexus IS is being discontinued for Europe despite its 2nd refresh; likely will see it discontinued for Australia as well.

So, no Asian competition for the G70 when Genesis launches in Europe.
