  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anyone know how to reset the service reminder on 2015 Genesis Sedan. I change the interval in user settings but the system defaults to the current setting when I turn the ignition on.

Bump on this. I'm having a problem on this and can't figure out how to get this off. I did the service before the reminder appeared, but now it is there and I can't find a way to reset it. Anyone?:confused:

mine just says service in....OFF. I noticed this when scrolling through the menus but haven't researched how to change it from this.

I am sorry I didn't really have any valuable info to add here.....

See owner's manual - pages 3-67=>71.

You have a "page" button on the right hand-rest of the steering wheel which toggles thru six pages of settings/info which is displayed on the LCD display behind the wheel. One page (the "information page") is depicted with a wrench and deals with your query. Pushing the "OK" button on the wheel for one second is supposed to effect a reset.

At page 3-71, it is stipulated that if you set no service interval, the function is OFF. And, that's the way I like it.

I like being reminded for service. Too bad oil changes arent based on driving type rather than strictly by mileage.

Ok, I found the solution. When you scroll through the "page" button, you will get to the wrench. It defaults to showing tire pressure. Use the scroll wheel and the next option will be "time until service". You can reset there.

This is a different area than setting the mileage and months for the service reminder itself. As Kn5owa noted, this is found under the "settings" icon after the wrench in the service interval settings.
